It’s a good idea and I’m all for it although it won’t do me very much good unless I have quite a few left over the next time
the rate changes. I only use about a hundred a month so it isn’t very practical to buy a large supply ‘just in case’.
Still, having a few leftover Liberty Bell stamps certainly is better than having Make-up stamps left over from previous rate changes. Sometime I’ll take them back to the post office and exchange them for real stamps.
Each year it becomes easier for us to purchase stamps. Of course the basic first class stamp can now be obtained at almost any grocery store .. That’s where I buy most of mine. But there are other services even handier.
Stamps can be ordered by mail or by telephone or orders placed online. My computer order for the Forever stamps was acknowledge by return e-mail and was very promptly filled. It can certainly be worth the extra dollar surcharge to keep from leaving the house.
I suppose I bitch about the Postal Service as much as anyone, but they really do do a good job. Thank you, USPS.
