I ATE SOME YOGURT

I ate some Yogurt last night - The first I've ever had. The name itself gave me a fright - Surely it would taste bad. It was good for me I was told And I really should try it. Even though it cost like gold It wouldn't hurt to buy it. So finally I decided to be brave And give in to my friend. For if I continued to rant and rave With her it might be the end. One cup we bought to share On this I did insist. A bite or two I would dare But more I would resist. Well, Yogurt I have found Is like a frigid lake. If at first you haven't drowned It's not so hard to take. So, I really must confess After this first attempt. The experience was a success And from this fear I'm now exempt. There are other things that I prefer. Like pie and cake and sherbert. But if need be I now can stir. A cup of frozen vanilla yogurt. jhs
