THE SHIP "Some day my ship will come in!" I often heard my father say. "And then we will all begin To have a brighter day." How long he waited at the dock I really cannot say. But he was patient as a rock Until he passed away. Perhaps he really was right And saw his ship arrive. And maybe it was a sight Not to be seen by those alive. My ship will come in as well If what I say is true, Will it be bound for Heaven or Hell? I really have no clue.
