HERE'S A RITIN FRUM OLD BEAR
FOR NOVEMBER 1998
Hi, evrybudy! This is Old Bear bak frum my trip to Ilnoyze and ritin 2 U agin. I lyke 2 take trips but I sure am glad wen I get home agin. The musik you shuld be listenin 2 is sumpn kalled CHICAGO cus that is where I wus sum of the tyme I wus gone.
Member how last tyme I sed me and my man wuld be rydin the train 2 Ilnoyze? Well, the pitcher at the top aint the train we rode on. It is a pretend train that wus at a playce kalled TANNER'S ORCHARD near where my gramma lives. Me and my man and his gud frend named Judy tuk my gramma out to this Orchard playce where there were all kinds of fun things 2 C and for childrun 2 du and we got 2 pet a baby goat. My man sez he mite get a baby goat sumtyme but I don't think he will. My gramma sure did lyke eatin sum ice cream at this Orchard Playce even if it wus purty chilly sittin outdoors.

It wusn't as much fun goin 2 visit my gramma and my aunt Mary and my uncle Jerry this tyme cus uncle Jerry had got sumpn kalled a stroke and wus in the houspital duin sumpn kalled rekoverin. Poor uncle Jerry culdn't move his left arm or his left hand and had to get help getting into a chair and can't walk yet and kant du sum other things but he is gettin sumpn kalled therapee and maybe sumtyme he will get all better. We shure hope so. My aunt Mary culdn't spend a lot of tyme with us this tyme cus of wanting to be with uncle Jerry but we visited quite a lot after aunt Mary got home frum the housepital. My uncle Marty cum from Windy Indy 2 C his daddy and aunt Judy who rites the Windy Indy stories cum 2 help aunt Mary. It shure was fun 2 talk to them.
B4 I forget it I want to tell you about a Halloween/Burthday party I got invited 2 go 2. It wusn't a reel party ... just a pretend party online but it wus lots of fun to 'go 2'. It wus a kostume party and I 'went' dresssed in my Mexican blanket and big sombrero. I was the only bear there .. all the other 'guests' were kitties. Ms. Crawley who did the wurk 4 this party sez it will be going on 4 a month so you can go see who all wus at this party if you want 2. Just klik on this party pitcher.
After we quit visitin my gramma and aunt Mary and uncle Jerry my man's gud frend Miss Judy tuk us 2 C sum reel purty playces. Here's a pitcher of one purty playce that luks lyke a lake but it's reely a spot on the Hennepin Canal near where my gramma lives.
On one reel purty day Miss Judy tuk us 4 a long ryde 2 a purty playce kalled
Turkey Run State Park that wus sumplayce in Injunana. Here is a pitcher of me
at a reel danjerous place at Turkey Run. I had 2 walk down 70 steps and cross
a long bridge 2 get there but it shure wus purty.
After we went 2 this purty State Park Miss Judy tuk us 2 another purty close by playce where there are lots of things kalled covered bridges and every year hunnerts and hunnerts of peples cum 2 sumpn kalled a covered bridge festival. A covered bridge is a bridge that has sumpn like a house on top of it. I guess bak in the old timey days wen the covered bridges were made peples were skared of gettin wet so built these house things. Anyway, here's wat a covered bridge luks like.
My man sez that my ritin abowt our trip takes jist about as long as takin the trip. Well, I'm not goin 2 quit until I show u sum pitchers of the little room on the train we sat in on the way to Ilnoyze. It's purty spensive 2 rent one of these little rums but my man sez that sumtymes it is nice 2 du sumpn kalled pamper urself. Course he culd only ford 2 pamper himself one way .. we had 2 ryde in sumpn kalled a coach car cumin bak. I sorta like that better anyway cus ridin in one of these spensive rums u don't get 2 meet very many people and u kan only see out one side of the train. But my man sez he kant sleep very well in a coach seat.
Wat these three pitchers are is first me sittin on the ladder that goes from the downstairs bed 2 the upstairs bed. The upstairs bed is pretty narrow and has straps 2 wrap around u sew u don't fall out. The second pitcher shows U one of the sittin places. It is jist across from the other sittin place that turns into the downstairs bed at night. The next pitcher is the toilet place and that's also where the shower place is.
The first pitcher here shows where the washin up playce is. That's where my man did his tooth cleanin and shavin and hair combing. The other pitcher sort of shows U the big sittin seat that is the downstairs bed.
Well, I guess I had better quit my ritin. I'm purty late duin it and Miss Christy at Startext mite be ritin purty soon 2 ask me where my ritin is.
Gosh, I just membered that next month will be Christmus tyme already and my gramma is going 2 be 91. She had such a good birthday party last year wen she wus 90 that now she wants 2 have another one wen she's a hunnert.
