HERE'S A RITIN FRUM

FOR OCTOBER 2001


Hi, evrybudy! This is Old Bear ritin 2 U agin and that pitcher of me sitting with Tweety Bird and my bear friend wus tuk maybe 3 years ago wen me and my man were duin sum visitin in a town near Chicago.
My man sez that a persun shuld never talk abowt his operation but it's okay if sumbudy else talks abowt it. Sew I guess that is what I'll do.
Well, my man has been havin sum problums for a pretty long time that were sumtyme sort of barrising to him so his regular doctor man sed he shuld go C a speshul doctor man who new all abowt these barrising problums. Sew he did.
Well, wen my man told the speshul doctor man about his problem he said "you need a proseedure done sew we kan find out wat is causin yur problum." My man sed okay, if that is wat you think I shuld du cus you are the doctor man.
Well, the day before the proseedure day my man didn't get 2 eat nuthin but two bowls of jello and didn't drink nuthin but sum coffee and sum water until six o'clock wen he had 2 drink sum speshul cleanin out stuff. He sure made sum faces wen he drunk it cus it didn't taste very gud even if it wus strawberry flavor and he had 2 drink about 14 glasses of it. It tuk him more than 3 hours 2 get it all down. He sure wus happy wen the jug wus empty.
Well, the day of the proseedure he didn't get 2 eat nuthin at all and wus sort of grumpy cus he wus hungry and wus sorta scared that the proseedure wus goin 2 hurt him and wurried that maybe the doctor man wuld find bad things wen he did the proseedure. But his gud frend Miss Elizabeth who cum 2 take him to the hospital place sed not 2 wurry cus everything would be okay.
Well, wen they get 2 the hospital place the first thing that happened wus a lady told him to take off all his clothes cept his shoes and socks and she give him a dress lookin thing to put on that didn't have no buttons on it. After he did that he had 2 walk right by sum ladies sew he held this dress thing real tight until he got 2 a big room were there were lots of beds and sum had peples layin in them who weren't movin. My man sed that scared him a little bit cus he thot maybe they were dead.
Well, he had 2 get on one of the beds that had wheels on it and a real nice lady asked him all kinds of questions and made jokes with him and another real nice lady stuck him in the arm with a needle but he didn't hardly feel it. Purty soon the question askin lady pulled up sum fence lookin things on the bed sew my man wuldn't fall out of the bed and then she pushed him into another room that had all kinds of scary lukin stuff in it and he laid there real quiet while three ladies hooked up all kinds of things to his arm and his chest and his nose. He sed that he learned that if he held his breath one of the machines wuld make a real loud noise and the nurse lady wuld cum running reel fast cus he did it once by mistake.
Well after all the scary machines were hooked up the doctor man cums and says How are you. My man sed gud. Then a nurse lady stuck a needle in his arm and the doctor sed lie on your left side and my man did and then he wus back in the big bedroom place. My man sed he lost two hours out of his life amd he is real glad it wus the two hours wen the doctor wus doin the proseedure cus he didn't no nothin abowt it..
Well, purty soon the nurse lady sed he culd get dressed sew he did and Miss Elizabeth wus waitin 4 him 2 take him home. But first they had to go have a consultation with the doctor man who sed he hadn't seen no reel bad things inside him wen he did the procedure so my man felt reel gud abowt that and wus happy that Miss Elizabeth wus right sew they went and ate a hamburger on the way home.
My man sez now that he knows purty much wat is wrong with him and has some brown pills that maybe will help him he will enjoy goin on the mystery trip and to New York and maybe other places a lot better. I'm shure glad cus I lyke to take trips.
