Hi, Evrybudy! This is Old Bear ritin 2 U agin and the pitcher U C is a nice lady named Pat Hansen and I'll tell U why I'm sittin by her.
My man belongs 2 sumpn kalled a retyrement klub. Evry month peoples who used 2 wurk at the same cumpany get together 2 eat barBQ meat and have what is kalled a program. Here is a pitcher of peoples getting their barBQ meat.
Sumtymes the program is peples playin music or singing songs and sumtymes peples telling abowt books or telling stories. I don't go 2 these meetins cept once he tuk me and told the peoples all abouwt how I did my ritin and stuff like that.
Well, most of these peples who do programs purty much money and this retyrement klub don't have very much money so my man volunteered to be a program for the August meetin. He sed he wuld reed sum of his poetry ritins that he duz for this magazine. And Miss Pat sed she had a poum abowt a teddy bear that she had wrote that she culd reed. Sew it wus agreed that my man and Miss Pat wuld be the program peples 4 the August club meeting. Here's a pitcher of Miss Marcy who dus the program plannin and the lady in the stripedy shirt is Miss Wylene who has to pay the bills. She give my man $10.00 4 his lunch and told him 2 bring back the change.
Well, my man sed I shuld cum cus sum peoples wanted to meet me and also cus one of the poums he wuld be readin wus called A TALK WITH OLD BEAR. It's a gud poum cus it is about me but is too long 2 print 4 U 2 read.
The pitcher of me and Miss Pat wus tuk after the meetin wus all dun and everybudy wus goin home. I guess she and my man did good jobs cus evrybudy klapped reel loud and cum up and sed how gud it wus. My man sed it shure wus fun readin his poums out loud. He didn't memberize them but had sheets of paper with the wurds on them.

He sorta luks like he is prayin, don't he. The other pitcher is of my man sittin and listenin to Miss Ranna who is the retyrement club president lady and is real purty. Miss Ranna has a big hammer thing that she bangs on the table when it is time 4 the meetin 2 start. Then she says how glad she is everybudy has kum and dus a birthday drawing and then asks if anybody else has sumpn 2 say and mostly nobody dus sew then Miss Marcy tells about the program and that is wen my man got 2 reed his poums. He did sum then Miss Pat did her poums and then my man did sum more.
