HI EVERYBUDY! This is old bear ritin 2 U agin in August and I got a reel nyce letter from my bestust frend Samantha and I thot that U might like to see part of it. Wen she rote it she sed she had been out of school for a month alredy and wus enjoying her time off. U know Sam is a skool teecher now so that's wat she ment wen she sed she wus out of school. Here's wat she had 2 say about her skool daze: “The school year ended in a flurry. I coached track for the first time this year, so that consumed the end of March and all of April and May. I had never coached a sport before because I never participated in sports as a kid. I do run now, though, to stay in shape. My first track meet ever was the first one I coached! Due to a series of unforeseen circumstances, I ended up as a head coach, even with my lack of inexperience. But thanks to the kind help of some teacher friends, who volunteered their time to get the team going, and to the internet, which provided countless websites on ‘how to coach’, I made it through and loved it! I had a team of 48 girls, and we ended up with 3 new school records, 3 new conference records, and a winning season! I'll be back to coach again next year!! ( :” That sure wus purty gud that Sam did all that lerning about doin track stuff and won all the records she talked about. My man sez u have 2 run reel fast 2 win a running record. Here's wat Sam sed about wut she is duin this summer: “I'm keeping myself busy with all the little projects I don't have time to do during the school year. I'm painting a guest room right now, and I'm getting back in touch with people I haven't talked to in awhile. I see my sister Emily and niece Carys almost every day, which is fantastic. Even though they only live 7 minutes away, I hardly saw Carys during the last months of school because she'd always be in bed already when I'd come over. She's 10 months now and an absolute doll. I love her to pieces. Em and family are in Myrtle Beach this week with her in-laws, though, so I'm a bit lonely right now. ( : Andy works until about 5 :30 each night, so I just stay occupied until then. ( : Member wen I went to Samanthas wedding 2 years ago and got 2 wear my new tuxedo? Well, it wus Mr. Andy that Samantha got married to and here's a pitcher of him and her that Sam sent me. It shure wus a nyce wedding and Samantha had told most evrybudy that I wus coming so lot's of people sed they were glad 2 meat me. Sam sed that she and Andy finally got a computer and she give me her home e-mail address but I didn't rite her back yet. I've been pretty busy doin things here and helpin my man rite this DDN magazine. She asked me if me and my man were goin 2 du any travelin pretty soon. We shure are. If sumpn bad doesn't happen we R goin 2 go to Phoenix about the tyme you read this 4 a convention thing that my man started more than 40 years ago. Then wen we get back from Phoenix we r goin with sum peoples to see a Civil War Museum in a town not far away frum here. Then in September the State Fair of Texus starts and we will go out there a cuple of tymes 2 work 4 the DAR ladies. They shure lyke 4 us 2 cum cus my man is gud at getting peples 2 buy takin chance tickets. In October we r goin on a 2 day mystery trip but I kan't tell U wear we r goin cus it is a mystery. Then in November we are purty sure goin on another cruise on the same big boat we went on 2 years ago. That shure wus a lot of fun. So we will be busy.
