Hi, everybudy! This is Old Bear ritin 2 U agin and we shure did have a gud time seein
sum of the hysterical sites in Dallas on July 15th. The guide lady who new all the places
to see was Rosemary Rumbley and she's tellin us about sum of them in this pitcher. Mr. Byron is the man
in the other pitcher and he talked 2 us when Miss Rosemary run out of things to say 4 a
few minutes. Mr. Byron wus the one who did all the plannin 4 this trip and got sodas and
cookies and stuff on to eat and drink on the 2er.
Miss Rosemary is jist abowt the funnest person there is. My man sez she can make death
funny and I guess that's right cus wen we stopped at Crown Hill cemetary to see where
Bonnie Parker was buried Miss Rosemary told sum funny stories about wat happened to her
one time at this cemetery. Here's pitchers of where Miss Bonnie Parker is buried and one
of the people walkin around lukin at grave stones and listening 2 Miss Rosemary tell stories.
She got buried first at Fishtrap Cemetery and we went there 2. We were on the Buses
by Bill bus for about six hours and she kept eveybudy laffin most all the time.
Our 2er was mostly about seein the places where Bonnie Parker and Clyde
Barrow lived when they weren't out robbin banks and killin peoples. We saw where Mr.
Clyde worked and where he met Miss Bonnie and places lyke the first prison in Dallas and
herd about the old timey people who did gud things 4 Dallas lyke givin lots of money to
build parks and stuff. We saw lots of fancy old houses that were called manshuns,
When we passed one big house a lady on the bus said that was where she lived when she
wus a little girl. Miss Rosemary tuk us by all kinds of places that were hysterical
that most peoples who lived in Dallas wuldn't no about. I guess that wus why it
wus kalled an underground 2er.
There wus 50 peoples ridin on the bus and sum of them had lived in Dallas for
maybe a jillion years and new sum other interestin things 2 tell us. Here is the people
on the bus before we got goin.
Lunch was part of the 2er and where everybudy ate was called The
Ranchito and it wus in a hysterical building that used 2 be a poplar BBQ place called
Red Bryans. My man sed he had been in that buildin one other time .. In 1951 wen it
was Red Bryans. Here's a pitcher of the restrunt and most of the 2er peoples sittin at
long tables eatin fajitas.
Everybudy shure had a gud tyme on " The Rosemary Trip" and my man sez we
lerned a hole lot about Dallas that he didn't no.
Here I am saying goodbye to Miss Rosemary and tellin her wat a gud tyme
I had.
I'll have a gud tyme wen I go to New York City in December but I bet
I don't hear so many funny stories as I did on The Rosemary Trip.
