Hi, everybudy!
This is Old Bear doin a ritin in Aprul for my man 2 put in the May magazine. U no we always have 2 du our ritins purty early 2 be sure they get dun on tyme. Sumtymes it is purty hard 2 think abowt sumpn 2 rite and other times it is reel easy. This time is one of those easy tymes cus I kan think of lots to rite abowt.
The purty musik U R hearin is sumpn kalled Spring that was rittin by a song riter named Mr. Vivaldi. I thot it wus a good Maytyme song.
The furstust thing I want 2 tel U is that the pitcher of me wus tuk by Miss Ana, a real nyce lady we met last year wen we were in Spain. Miss Ana tuk a hole lot of pitchers of what she saw in Spain but has been 2 busy wurkin and takin more trips to get all her Spain pitchers put together sew we culd see them. Well, I shure wus surprised 2 see that she had taken my pitcher then I membered that it wus wen we wus in Gibraltar and I wus sittin in a chair visitin with Miss Ana's momma and daddy.
U kan C all of Miss Ana's pitchers jist by clickin on my pitcher that she tuk.
I guess we aren't goin 2 go bak 2 Spain this year or 2 Mexico or even 2 Ilnoyze but we r goin 2 take a trip in June with sum of the peples we went 2 Nu York with last year only this tyme we won't get to fly anywear. We have 2 get up reel early 2 get 2 the church wear we are goin 2 meet the other peples and then get on a big bus that will take us all the way to West Texus. We are goin 2 B gone 3 nights and 4 days.
Why we R goin on this trip is mostly to go see sumpn kalled THE FORT GRIFFIN FANDANGLE at Albany, Texus witch is a town purty klose to Abilene that is a purty famus kowboy town. I culd kopy down a lot of words abowt wat this Fandangle thing is but what it is mostly is sort of a singin and dancin play that tells all abowt old timey peples who moved into this part of Texus and how the soljers at Fort Griffin had 2 protect them frum indian peples and outlaws. I've seen how they du that in tv shows that my man watches.
The wurd Fandangle cums frum the Spanish wurd fandango that means a real fast dance. I think it's goin 2 B sorta like the pajunt kalled Texus that we went 2 C a couple of years ago.
It's goin 2 be a purty fun trip cus we get 2 go C lots of other things besides the fandangle. We R goin 2 a playce kalled the Chicken Farm Art Gallery 2 C peples makin art stuff and 2 the hysterical Fort Concho and 2 sum playce wear real old timey indian peples made lots of wat is kalled pictographs on a big limestone bluff. When childruns du pitchers on fences and walls it is kalled graffiti but wen old timey indians du it it is kalled histerical art work.
Of course we get 2 go shoppin in San Angelo to buy things kalled Concho Pearls. I guess my man will by me another pin while we are there.
We R goin 2 the San Angelo State park 2 C sum buffalos and sum cows with real long horns and then we'll go to Miss Hatties Bordello Museum.
When we get 2 Abilene my man will be happy cus we are goin 2 the Dyess Air Force Base to see sum old timey airplaynes. Then wen we get to Albany we R goin 2 the Old Jail Art Center and a church and then take a tour of the town and eat sum BBQ on the courthouse square. (I hope they give us sum dishes.)
The fandangle show is at nite tyme sew we will go back to Abilene 2 sleep and then the next day cum back 2 Dallas on the big bus by a road that lets us see sum real purty seenery.
I'm shure lukin forward 2 goin 2 the fandangle and my man will take lots of pitchers with his ditchital kamra.
