Hi, Evrybudy!
This is old bear riting 2 u agin and I told u a story last month. I told U I would write about our trip to the Old South this month but I kan't cuz we haven't gone yet. My man is hurryin up to get this magazine printed and mailed 2 U before we go. It wuld be hard 4 me 2 tel U wat we did on the trip wen we haven't gone on it yet.
We'r goin to have to get up reel early the day we go cus the airplayne we are going to fly on to a town named Savannah leaves at 8 in the morning We will be gone 4 nites and 5 days and will be flying on US AIR. Me and my man have never rode in a US AIR Airplayne; I hope they have peanuts like Southwestern Airlines has.
I've picked out sum of the things I'm going 2 take to wear like my blue sweater in kase it gets kold and my bucksin vest that peoples like a hole lot and maybe my tuxedo 4 when we go out 2 eat.
My man hasn't done any pakin yet cus we aren't goin 4 maybe three more weeks but he's alredy put new battries in his ditchital kamra sew he won't forget 2 du it later.
Did U reed that ritin by Miss Alyce that Miss Doris sent to my man? I sort of member Miss Alyce frum wen me and my man were in Red River twenty years ago. That's in Nu Mexico, u know.
We shure had a gud time in Red River wen we were there. Wear we stayed was real close to sumpn kalled a ski lift. A ski lift is sort like a real long rope with a hole lot of chairs hooked to it and peoples sit in the chairs and get pulled up this real high hill that is covered in snow. They all have stick things on their feet and when they get to the top of the hill they slide down it on these sticks. Course peples need snow to slide down the hill on
Their stick things. There wusn't any snow wen we were there cus it wus in April, but I got to ryde on it anyhow. It shure wus scary to sit in this chair thing and go up and lookin down on the ground and the tops of sum trees. My man sed to hold on tite so I wuldn't fall out of the chair and I sure did. It wus skary but it wus fun to ride on the ski lift.
Wen we were in Red River we got to go for a jeep ryde that wus fun too. The driver man tuk us all around the Red River town and out in the mountains and told us all about wat we were seein and the histry of Red River.
Wun of the playces we ate in Red River wuz Texas Red's Steakhouse. I don't member wat
the food wuz lyke but I member that they gave everybudy little pails of peanuts to eat and wen
you were threw eatin a peanut you throwed the shell on the floor. I don't get tu du that when I'm home so that wus fun.
My man is ritin sumpn about the mellerdrama we saw in Red River. I don't member jist
wat it wuz about but there wus a lot of booin and hissin when the bad guy cum on stage and
peoples thru popcorn at him. I didn't think that wus very nice but my man sed thqt is wat
peopes du wen they go to a mellerdrama. He sed he knew cus when he wus purty young he wurked
in Colorado helpin out a mellerdrama.
My man sorta told you about wut happened to us wen we were leaving the mellerdrama but
I kan tell U all abowt it.
Wen we were leaving a lady standing at the door wus saying goodbye and thank 4 cumin
and shaking hands and stuff. But wen me and my man got there she sed sumpn diffrunt. She sed
sumpn lyke "wuld u please go next door to our office for a few minutes" Wen I hurd that I
thought maybe my man wuz in truble for throwin popcorn ar booing or hissing too loud. But wen
we got 2 the office playce there were sum peples there who wantd to know all abowt me and they
tuk my pitcher to put in a scrapbook and my man rote down were I wuz frum and how old I wuz and
put that in the scrapbook 2. For a litle bit I thot I wus reel speshul to get treated lyke
that but then I found out that all of the teddy bears who cum to the mellerdrama get treated
real speshul.
My man luked 4 sum pitchers he tuk at Red River but culdn't find any. He sed that maybe
he didn't take any on that trip cus he didn't have a ditchital kamra in 1995 and probly decided
not to carry his polarized kamra with us cus it is pretty big. I shure wish I had a pitcher of
me on the ski lift.
We've been to other playces in New Mexico but I guess I liked Red River bestust of all.
