This is Old Bear ritin 2 U agin and I've got jist a few pitchers to show you this tyme.
Me and my man went with Miss Elizabeth to a meatin of The Jane Douglas Chapter of the Dawters of the American Resolution.
You know me and my man get vited there purty often cus the ladies there lyke my man 2 take pitchers 4 their scrapbook.
This tyme the ladies were having a speshul meeting to vote on sumpn purty important and then the members of the
Children of the American Resolution, David Pendleton Society were goin 2 have their annual George Washington Tea. Here's
the progrum that told wat wus goin 2 be happenin.
Here's a couple of DAR ladies who were at the meetin.
It's been fun 4 us 2 cum evry year for maybe 5 or 4 years and C how the kids have been growin up. Here's the pitcher my man
tuk this year of all the childrun in the program. The girl on the left standing between the two boys is Colleen who is
in college now and belongs to the DAR but is stayin a member of the CAR cus she lykes it sew gud..
The lady in the red dress sittin in front of the childrun is the one who wurks with the childrun duin their CAR
projects and programs. The other lady in the red coat is wat is kalled the regent of the Jane Douglas Chapter of the DAR.
Miss Elizabeth who takes us to the DAR doings wus a regent one time. That's a purty important job and jist anybody don't
get to be a Regent lady.
Sometimes we see one of the SAR members at the DAR house during the CAR program. SAR means Sons of the American
Resolution. I keep forgettin all the rules for being a CAR or a DAR or a SAR member but I no U have to have sumone in
your family who wus in the Americun Resolution way back in the old timey days. I think they call this their lineage.
The little girl at the top of this ritin who is holdin me by the neck will be a CAR and a DAR member when she gets old
enuff cus she's got lots of lineage.
My man sez that he don`t know nuthing about his lineage but he's purty sure that he culdn't be a SAR member.
They always have gud things to eat at the CAR's George Washinigton Tea. This time there wus all kinds of cookies and
cakes and sanwiches and olives and stuf lyke that. Everything wus reel gud but one of the purtiest things to eat wus this
flower lookin thing that wus made of grapes and melons and all kinds of pieces of fruit. My man sed it wus too purty to
eat, but he did anyway.
The CAR childrun sure du a gud job givin this George Washington Tea Party every year.
Guess wat evrybudy! Me and my man R goin 2 go on a trip to Tucson in Arizona at the end of March. Wat we are going
there for is for a big party called The Arizona Banjo Blast and there will be banjo players frum all over cumming to this party.
My man and Miss Elizabeth and Mr. Jim and Miss Eileen go most every month to a barbeque place to listen to the Dallas
Banjo Band practice and give a free concert like in this pitcher and then they eat bbq sandwiches.

Well, the band peoples are goin to the Arizona Banjo Blast party by bus and rote in their nus letter that anyone else
who wanted 2 cum culd go on the bus with them cus there wuld be room. Sew my man and Miss Elizabeth signed up real quick.
Me and my man have been tu Tucson a couple of tymes, but never 4 a Banjo Blast. My man sez that it ought to be a lot of fun
even if he and Miss Elizabeth are pretty old to be sumpn kalled "groupies".
