Hi, Evrybudy!
As you kan see from my busy card that my man made 4 me this is Old Bear ritin 2 u agin. He made
purty many of them and we tuk them on the cruise with us and give them to peoples wen they wuld
ask "wat’s the story about the bear?"
The piture on the busy card is my favoritest piture and I member zactly wear we wus wen
my man tuk it with his polarized kamera. We wus in Jenks, Oklahoma at a Teddy Bear show.
There were a hole lot of nice ladies there who made bears and things for people who collect
bears.
I member that trip purty gud cept I didn’t member just when it was. My man luked it up
On his calendar 4 me and it wus on Friday, November 10, 1995 wen we flew to Tulsa on Southwest
Airlines and I ate some peanuts. I member we sat in the vEry front seat where we had to fly
backwards. I think that was called a bulkhed seat. We sat across from a real nyce lady and her
little girl who were going to Tulsa, too. She asked my man how we were goin to get to Jenks,
Oklahoma after we got to Tulsa and and my man sed he didn't know; he guessed we would have to
ryde there in a taxi cab. The nice lady sed that Jenks wus an awful long way from Tulsa and
where she wus goin wusn’t very far frum Jenks and maybe she culd take us wear we were goin.
My man sed that wus a good idea and sew that's wat we did. The nyce lady had a car parked at
the Tulsa airport and we got in it and went to wear she lived sew she culd du sumpn in her house
and then she tuk us to Jenks wear the bear show wus going to B.
We didn’t know nobody wen we got 2 the playce but there were peoples there getting
things ready for the show. My man sed we were early and culd he help get things ready and they
sed yes he culd. Sew he moved boxes from cars to inside and did other things to help. Sew we
got to know the peoples pretty good and they even give us sum dinner and my man tuk the pitcher
of me in my hat and topcoat.
I member we stayed in a motel in Jenks all nite and went back Saturday morning wen
peples were cumin 2 the show. U kan c from these two pitchers that I had changed into my
sweater that my man bought 4 me in Gibraltar wen we were there.
My man entered me in a contest but I didn't win a prize cus I wus a store bought bear
and the contest wus jist 4 handmade bears. That wus okay; it wus fun to be in the contest.
Wen the show wus over my man helped get things packed up and then we went to a party 4
a while and then sumbudy tuk us back to Tulsa and then we cum home.
We got an invite the next year to go to Jenks agin but we didn't go and I don’t member Y.
Gosh it shue doesn’t seem like it has been 10 years since we were in Jenks, Oklahoma.
But this is 2005 and we went in 1995. My man doesn't know just wear we will be goin this year
but he says one trip will be to THE OLD SOUTH in March and maybe we will go back to Nu York
City in December, but he doesn’t much lyke New York Ciy in December cus it is purty cold.
` My man sez he wuld lyke to go back to England and Spain and sew wuld I but he sez that
would cost a hole lot of money. I told him that I knew he wuld be getting more in his soshul
security but he sed that wuldn't be enuf 4 us to go to Amarillo.
