This is Old Bear ritin 2 u agin 4 the last time this year. Gosh, it seems hardly anytyme ago that I wus ritin 4 the last tyme last year. I finally got used 2 sayin and ritin 2 thousand 4 this year, now I got 2 learn 2 rite 2 thousand and 1. My man sed he has the same problum wen he is ritin bill payin checks and duin stuff like that. He sez wat helps him is havin a calendur 2 rite things on sew he will no jist wen 2 du things and go playces.
Kan you C the square lukin thing that I'm holdin that has the little bears around it and the ritin on it? That's a presunt that Mr Chuck and Miss Terri who R gud frends of mine sent me. The ritin on it sez I WISH I WERE A TEDDY BEAR. EVERYONE LOVES YOU. NOBODY CARES IF YOU ARE FAT. THE OLDER YOU GET THE MORE YOU ARE WORTH!, That shure wus nyce of them 2 think about me and send me this nyce plak thing.
U no, wen I got 2 thinkin abowt wat all exciting things I got 2 du this year I guess I'm a purty lucky bear. Mostly I got 2 go on 3 trips with my man.
It wus in May that we went to Illinois 2 see my Aunt Mary and Uncle Jerry and my Gramma. It wus fun ridin on the train there and back cept it tuk a purty long tyme. After we visited with the fambly we went to Chicago 4 a week with the Elderhostel peoples and went everyday 2 the Museum of Science & Industry where I got to pretend I wus an astronaut and see lots of interesting things. It wus here in this big museum that I was bearnapped and my man didn't no wear I wus and he wus real, real wurried. But it turned out okay cus miss Ginnie who my man wus eatin lunch with when I got bearnapped found me.
The longest away trip wus 2 Spain in September wear we were at Torremolinos for two weeks and got 2 see lots of places and meet a hole lot of nice peoples travelin with the Grand Circle tour thing. We got to go to Tangiers in Morocco and here is a pitcher of me ridin on a camel in that country.
My man shure members goin 2 Spain this year cus he fell down in Malaga and hurt himself purty bad and cut his shin and it got infected and it still hurts him a little bit cept it is all well.
We hardly got bak frum Spain before we went on another trip to wat is kalled the Hudson River Valley with a group from the church where my man's gud frend, Miss Elizabeth goes. There wus lots of ridin on a bus and U kan C from the pitcher that peoples and bears get sleepy ridin on buses. That's Miss Jeri holdin me while we R takin a nap. It shure wus purty there in New York in October.
I shure hope we get 2 go sum more playces next year. My man sez he is purty shure that we are goin 2 go 2 New York City maybe next year in December with this church group. That will be fun.
